The Tākai website is managed by Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children. This privacy statement applies to personal information collected by Tākai.

The data we collect and why

You can use our website without providing any personal information. If you voluntarily provide personal information, for example through online forms, subscribing to our newsletter, or completing an application for funding, we'll only use that information to communicate with you or process your funding application.

We'll keep any information we collect secure and will not disclose it to any third parties. Tākai print resources can be ordered through an external online portal hosted and managed by our partner Blue Star in accordance with their privacy policy. The personal information collected through this portal is only used by Blue Star to process and deliver the resources you order and to provide insight into the types of community organisations who use our resources.

Statistical information and cookies

We may collect statistical information about your visit to our website to help us improve it. This information does not identify individuals, and makes use of cookies. A cookie is a piece of code that creates a file on your computer to track the pages that you view on our website.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect and analyse details about the use of our website. You may turn off cookies at any time. Hotjar
